Jesus Enterprise Officiating Marriages Government Issues a marriage as seen through the eyes of the Government is a CIVIL CONTRACT between two persons. The Government issues a marriage license granting to a couple permission to enter in this contract, of which the Government is also a Party of that contract.
In doing so, the Government has enacted certain laws and requirements governing marriage contracts. Further the Government decides who is qualified and authorized to represent the Government in administering these contracts.
In many if not most governmental jurisdictions Judges, Justice of the Peace, and Clergy are authorized to officiate or solemnize marriage contracts on behalf of the government as outlined by the laws of the jurisdiction where the marriage is to take place. To officiate a marriage members of the Clergy must register with and be authorized by the State to solemnize a marriage. This also requires that you to know and follow the laws enacted in the jurisdiction where the marriage is to be performed. The State for the most part, grants permission to members of the Clergy to act on behalf, as a recognized representative of the State to administer this civil contract we call marriage.
Most states require members of the Clergy to register their professional credentials with either the Clerk of Probate or District Court, however this may vary from state to state, and be well aware that each state may enact varying laws governing the civil contract of marriage. This is vitally important for the Clergy to KNOW! The laws regarding marriage will vary from state to state and you are personally liable to know these laws to legally administer the state marriage contract. After approving individual ministers to act on behalf of the government they most likely will issue some kind of a certificate that grants you permission to conduct a marriage on behalf of the state. I highly encourage Ministers who officiate numerous marriages to carry an Insurance Liability Policy! Additionally Ministers are encouraged to keep a journal of the marriages they officiate and keep a file copy of the signed marriage license. Before performing the marriage; - Secure from the couple a legal and valid marriage license MAKE SURE IT'S NOT EXPIRED! - Have the required number of witnesses (excluding Officiate and the Married couple) to sign the document. - Do NOT let the marriage license leave your hands! Do not solemnize a marriage without having possession of the marriage license first! - After the marriage ceremony, make sure everything is filled out correctly, and that the required witnesses have signed the document. - Return the marriage license to the correct governmental agency, within the specified time limit. What we have learned so far: 1.) in the eyes of the Government, Marriages are a CIVIL CONTRACT. 2.) The Government who is an interested party of a marriage and therefore grants clergy permission to solemnize civil marriage contracts. 3.) The Government qualifies who is authorized administer Marriage (Civil Contracts) on behalf of the Government. 4.) Before performing a marriage you must FIRST be authorized by the government. 5.) Marriage officiates are solely and legally responsible for their actions in administering marriage contracts. 6.) Marriage officiates are representing the state, and are liable for their actions, or omissions. 7.) Most states require the Marriage Officiate to register with either the Clerk or Probate or District Court. 8.) Failing to follow the law could land a member of the clergy in deep legal trouble. 9.) Marriage officiates should carry Personal Liability Insurance policy. 10.) Before Solemnizing a Marriage Contract secure the legal and valid Marriage License. 11.) Make sure there are the required number of witnesses to sign the Marriage License. 12.) Sign and return the Marriage License to the appropriate issuing agency within the specified time limit. 13.) Keep an Officiate Journal, and photocopies of the marriage license on file. The United Christian Faith Ministries ISSUE'S The United Christian Faith Ministries (UCFM) authorizes those Christian Ministers who have been ordained of the UCFM and are in good standing to perform Marriages, acting independently as Ministers of the Lord Jesus Christ, as long as the minister follows all the required laws governing marriages as issued by the governing jurisdiction where the marriage is to take place. - The UCFM is not responsible for any unauthorized or other illegal acts, whether they are intentional or otherwise, and is to be held harmless from the administration of marriage contracts.
- Furthermore the UCFM does not authorize UCFM ordained Ministers to Solemnize Same Sex Marriages. Please not ask Rev. Keith Ratliff to do a Same Sex Marriages he will not do them. What does the Bible say about gay marriage same sex marriage? We look at gay marriage / same sex marriage, first we have to remember what the Bible says about homosexuality. The Bible clearly and consistently tells us that homosexual activity is a sin (Genesis 19:1-13; Leviticus 18:22; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9). God does not create a person with homosexual desires. A person becomes a homosexual because of sin (Romans 1:24-27), and ultimately because of his or her own choice. A person may be born with a greater susceptibility to homosexuality, just as people are born with a tendency to violence and other sins. That does not excuse the person choosing to sin by giving into their sinful desires. If a person is born with a greater susceptibility to anger / rage, does that make it right for them to give into those desires? Of course not! The same is true for homosexuality. The Bible nowhere directly mentions bisexuality. However, it is clear from the Bible's denunciations of homosexuality that bisexuality would also be considered sinful. Leviticus 18:22 describes a person having sexual relations with the same sex as an abomination. Romans 1:26-27 condemns sexual relations between the same sex as abandoning what is natural. 1 Corinthians 6:9 states that homosexual offenders will not inherit the kingdom of God. These truths apply as equally to bisexuals as they do to homosexuals.
Matthew 25:1-13
Virginity
If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her, And give occasions of speech against her, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid: Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel's virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate: And the damsel's father shall say unto the elders, I gave my daughter unto this man to wife, and he hateth her; And, lo, he hath given occasions of speech against her, saying, I found not thy daughter a maid; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter's virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city. And the elders of that city shall take that man and chastise him; And they shall amerce him in an hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto the father of the damsel, because he hath brought up an evil name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days. But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel: Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father's house: so shalt thou put evil away from among you. Deuteronomy 22:13-21

Isaiah 20:2-4

Curses of Breaking the Seventh Commandment
Cursed be he that liveth with his father's wife; because he uncovered his father's skirt. And all the people shall say, Amen. Cursed be he that liveth with any manner of beast. And all the people shall say, Amen. Cursed be he that liveth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen. Cursed be he that liveth with his mother in law. And all the people shall say, Amen. Deuteronomy 27:20-23
For the lips of a strange woman drop as a honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil: But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword. Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell. Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them. Hear me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of my mouth. Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house: Lest thou give thine honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel: Lest strangers be filled with thy wealth; and thy labors be in the house of a stranger; And thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed, And say, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof; And have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me! I was almost in all evil in the midst of the congregation and assembly. Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well. Let thy fountains be dispersed abroad, and rivers of waters in the streets. Let them be only thine own, and not strangers' with thee. Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth. Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love. And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger For the ways of man are before the eyes of, and he pondered all his goings. His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be Holden with the cords of his sins. He shall die without instruction; and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray. Proverbs 5:3-23
To keep thee from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids. For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life. Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned? Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned? So he that goeth in to his neighbour's wife; whosoever toucheth her shall not be innocent. Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry; But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house. But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul. A wound and dishonour shall he get; and his reproach shall not be wiped away. For jealousy is the rage of a man: therefore he will not spare in the day of vengeance. He will not regard any ransom; neither will he rest content, though thou givest many gifts. Proverbs 6:24-35
Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. Hebrews 13:4
